Good gads Girdy! have I been wanting to get this up for a while! Pictures of it were taken back around thanksgiving time, but I only recently have received them to post 'em up here.
Things I have differently:
-stiffer leather, now it can maintain it's shape instead of slouching everywhere.
-No inside pockets in the large compartment, they used to get in the way to much.
-2 outside pockets with flaps to keep 'em closed.
-heavier leather attached to the hardware. Now it can wear much better.
-2 straps to attach to the person. Now it can be a backpack or a shoulder bag.
-3 straps in front are attached to the bag, instead of one middle strap and 2 belts going all 'round. The belts looked neato, but they weren't very practical.
-put a bit o' decoration on the front panel. Gives me a use for me cogs.
Other difference aren't large enough to mention. Over all though, I like this bag 110% better then the last... or should that number be 210%... oh's well, you get the idea, no?
seeing beautiful items at first fill me with dread thinking that i will never craft such things then hope overcomes knowing that through sheer will anything might be possible
I'd noticed them before and always liked them...but then I was randomly looking at this one again and saw that I hadn't mentioned that that's one of my favorite things about it - makes it more uniquely Weerd
love the bag!! i'm interested in using leather in my own sewing, mostly just wanting to make accesories and the like. however i'm not quit sure how to go about doing this, can i use my sewinmachine or do i hae to do it all by hand? any tipes?
