ah! Here's the "before I paint it" shot of the menpo (face mask/armour) I've already finished... don't have a picture of the complete one. I hammered it out of 18g (I think) nickel sheet metal. This is the most intensive armouring metal work I've done to date, and it's definitely not going to be the last
 It's much more of a costume piece than actual armour, because the metals so thin, especially the nose because I've raised it up so much. |

Major kudos for sticking with it for so long... I get bored with difficult projects and just leave then as is. Generally as a lump of clay/sketch/random bit of cloth I sorta started sewing.
